Listen to inspiraTO’s audio drama showcase: a series of six ten-minute plays all on the theme of “in-touch.” We had 353 play submissions from around the globe. Each of the following plays, are roughly ten-minutes long, and range from the dramatic and disturbing to the absurd and poetic — just like all of our performances in the past. Destiny by Angie Farrow. Sammy is trying to escape his past by marrying Sharleen. He needs to make it on time for his own wedding. A play that examines whether we can ever escape our fate. The Windsor Booth by Neil Walden. Do our ancestors ever leave us? A play that wants to reconnect us with our collective past in the most imaginative way possible. Directed by Sundance Nagrial with Tom Lute (as Arthur), Anjali Rai (as Sandra), Kris Langille (as Carol). Sound, music design and production by Jakub Soma. Come Back, Miss Calliope by Alan Kilpatrick. A play that deals with the sanity of being a writer. Or the insanity of not being one. Directed by Kimberley Wells with Salma Dharsee (as Rainy Brightwater) and Bruce Williamson (as Edward Phapp). Sound, music design and production by Jakub Soma. The Tea Test by Seth Freeman. Two friends meet for tea, yet so much more is at stake. A play about the true cost of vengeance. Directed by Onella De Zilva with Connie Guccione (as Emma) and Cora Kennedy (as Maude). Sound, music design and production by Jakub Soma. Assistant engineering by Mike Mernieks-Duffield. 

More than Kin by Ron Davies. After receiving grim medical news, an old man reaches out to his next of kin. A play that looks at the difficulty of forgiveness. ADVISORY WARNING: This play deals with sexual abuse. Directed by Dominik Loncar with Brooke Friendly (as Man) and Patrice Henry (as Woman). Sound, music design and production by Jakub Soma. Pickers by James McLindon. Two workers deal with the harsh realities of the American dream. A play that resonates across generations. ADVISORY WARNING: foul language.
