The inspiraTO Theatre Festival, Canada's largest ten-minute play festival takes place each year in late May / early June.

Each show is an hour long with 6 ten-minute plays in each show. There are usually two shows happening at the same time - one in the Mainstage and the other in the Studio. You can usually catch two shows in an evening or see more during the Saturday performances.

With over 100 theatre artists and 30 production volunteers taking part each season there are so many ways to be involved: Act, direct, write a play, be part of the crew, or volunteer. Read below for details.

There are many ways to test drive your creativity and be part of inspiraTO:

NEW: inspiraTO unhinged. Inspired by the Fringe festival, we at inspiraTO will be creating something similar: inspiraTO unhinged. One of the shows at next year’s festival will be based on a lottery system (6 individuals/theatre companies will be drawn), with 100% of the ticket sales going to the artists. Details here.
